AIT – Fabrication Engineering Services works closely with customers and utilizes the latest technology. Some of our latest and most widely used software packages include:

• SolidWorks, ProEngineer, AutoCad and Metacam

Services include: design for manufacturability, engineering for cost reduction of metal fabrication and finishes, as well as mechanical assembly. Nesting parts is a large part of our process to ensure the best material utilization. As part of our efforts in “continuous improvement”, our Engineering and Quality departments review the customer needs and that all requirements are included in the planning package forwarded to manufacturing. By working with our customers and utilizing customer-supplied models, we reduce costs and ensure quality products. We also take special measures to analyze each product design prior to the manufacturing process to eliminate any potential defects.

Design/New Product Development
Our goal is to work closely with your product development and engineering teams in “early supplier involvement” to identify the lowest-cost, highest-quality manufacturing solutions for your design requirements. We will look at the product application, design constraints and the latest technology to ensure quality and repeatability manufacturability.

Electronic File Transfer
Our Engineering Services uses the latest industry standard CAD packages (i.e., Solid Works, Pro-E, Metacam and Auto Cad) linked through our network and computer integrated manufacturing system.
